Clarence Ray "Raymond" Perry, 67, of Rittman, died Monday, October 3, 2016 at Embassy of Autumnwood Nursing and Rehab, Rittman.
Raymond was born August 14, 1949 in Dunlow, West Virginia to Clarence and Hattie {Sutherland} Perry.
Raymond served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He married Mary Opalka on September 18, 1976.
Raymond worked for Robin Industries as a truck driver for over 16 years. He enjoyed planting pine trees, tomatoes and vegetables in his garden, as well as taking walks in West Virginia. Raymond loved spending time with his family and his bird, Willy Walker.
Raymond will be deeply missed by his wife of 40 years; son Raymond Gene (Crystal) Perry of Seville; grandson Nathaniel Perry; brother Alpha G. Perry of Seville; sisters Doris (Lafe) Copley of Rittman, Cheryl Maynard of Prichard, WV and Karen Sue Maynard of Cleveland.
Raymond was preceded in death by his sisters Joyce Perry and Frances Ranstad.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Roberts Funeral Home – Hillcrest Chapel, Wadsworth is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
