Clarence J. Pyanowski, 78, of Nova, died Thursday, October 6, 2016 at University Hospitals, Cleveland Campus.
Clarence was born August 14, 1938 in Grafton to Joseph and Gertrude {Nyanowski} Pyanowski.
He graduated from Ruggles Troy (Mapleton) High School. Clarence served in the United States Army.
He married Marjorie Faulkner on April 4, 1963.
Clarence retired from Ridge Tool after 29 years. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Wellington. Clarence always kept busy by building pole barns and tinkering with old cars. He loved spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Clarence will be deeply missed by his wife Marjorie of 53 years; children William (Marsha) Pyanowski of Ashland, Sharon Pyanowski of Nova and Cindy (Alex) Brady of Nankin; grandchildren Tabitha (Mike) Hazlett, Justin (Ashley) Pyanowski and Nicholas Pyanowski; great-grandchildren Cordova, Hudson and Blaze Pyanowski, Chase and Aaron Hazlett; sister Dorothy Sprague of Lorain.
Clarence was preceded in death by his sister Stella Sourwine and brother Tony Pyanowski.
Services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park, where military rites will be held.
