Clarence Shoudt, 91, of Ashland, died Monday, January 9, 2017 at home.
Clarence was born October 16, 1925 in Loudonville, OH to Clarence and Ida Mae {Smith} Shoudt.
He graduated from Loudonville High School. Clarence served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He married Jo Houser on October 20, 1960. She passed away on September 12, 1999.
Clarence retired from F.E Myers after 42 years. He was the President of GMP Local Union #45B and was on the Board of Directors for Myers Employees Credit Union.
Clarence will be deeply missed by children Sheila (Larry) Fick, Steve (Susie) Shoudt, Kim Shoudt (Ron Smail); many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; many great-great-great grandchildren; sisters Marvalene Oswalt and Thelma Bergeon.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jo and four brothers.
Friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park, where military rites will be held.
