Clarence Sunderman

Clarence “Dink” Edgar Sunderman, 86, of Buckhannon, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Clarence was born June 8, 1931 in St. Mary, WV to Raymond and Avis Sunderman.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea, where he earned a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.
Clarence will be deeply missed by his children Ruth (Butch) Pugh, Loretta Sunderman and Stephanie (Samuel) Myers; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Jim Sunderman and Marvin Sunderman; sisters Phyllis Waggoner, Kitty Pritchett, Mary Reed, Christine Pritchett, Jenny Pritchett, Dorothy Starcher and Evelyn Pritchett.
Clarence was preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Taylor, son Joshua Sunderman, grandson Donnie Butcher, sons Jimmy and Jeff Harkins. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park, where military rites will be held. Roberts Funeral Home - East Lawn Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
