Clotilde "Connie" Froehlich

Clotilde “Connie” Froehlich (nee Moura), 94, of Seville, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 18, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones, at Medina Meadows Skilled Nursing.

Connie was born October 21, 1923 in Santaren, Brazil to her beautiful parents, Sabino and Maria {De Oliveida} Moura.

She held many jobs, including being a seamstress, but her main job was that of a loving homemaker. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier of Medina.  Connie touched and enriched the lives of so many family and friends, and was loved by all who met her.  Nana’s love knew no bounds, and greeted those special people with a “Hi Baby.” We know that she is soaring with the angels on high and dancing the Samba.  Her love and caring runs through all of us, forever.

Connie will be deeply missed by her children Helen (Michael) Pierce of Rocky River and Maria Strauss of Seville; grandchildren Greg, Jeff (Terri), Leslie (Jason), Chris (Jennifer), Bryan (Keri) and Nikki (Jeff); great-grandchildren Gracie, Brady, Jeff, Madison, Jaret, Grace, Greyson, Carrigan, Ashton, Sebastian, Oktober, Tristen, Wil (Alicia), and Jessica; great-great grandson Elias; pets Mercedes and Zoey.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; Elizia, Ilna, Sabina, and Clovis; son Walter; and grandson Ricky.

Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Services will be Thursday at 11:00 at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
