Clyde Edward Linsten, 82, of Mount Vernon, OH, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at his granddaughter’s home, in Cambridge, OH.
Clyde was born October 31st, 1941, in International Falls, MN to Clyde A. and Henretta {Clark} Linsten. He married Gloria L. Guitar on July 11th, 1979.
He loved his family cabin in the woods. He volunteered at the Acts Center food pantry and thrift store. He loved his cat and loved to golf. Helping people was his big thing. He really enjoyed lending a hand. He served in the Army until he retired then worked as a printer for years in Cleveland.
Clyde will be deeply missed by his children Jessica Linsten, Ron (Cherie) Linsten; grandchildren Hannah (Cameron) Botz, Angel (Derek) Rose, Racheal Rose, Tia Hajutajarvi, Sammy Sutton, Christina Sharp, Allison Linsten, Dillon Linsten and 18 great-grandchildren; brother Jack Linsten and sister Barb Canute.
Clyde was preceded in death by his wife Gloria, son Charles Rose, brothers Rick, Bob, and sister Jane.
Friends may call Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Mount Vernon Chapel. Celebration of Life services will be follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
