Creed Hasten Hensley Jr.

Creed Hasten Hensley Jr., 62, of Doylestown, died Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at his residence.

Butch was born March 26, 1961 in Barberton, Ohio to Creed Sr. and Mary {Sharpe} Hensley.

He graduated from Barberton High School in 1979.

He married Paula Firis on September 28, 1985. She survives.

Butch was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, OSU Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Butch will be deeply missed by his wife; children Daniel Hensley of Stow, Creed (Dessie) Hensley III of Akron, Cory (Angela) Hensley of Akron, Marlena (Mike) Coumos of Pittsburgh, Tyler Hensley of Garfield Heights; grandchildren Brendan, Tambre, Nico, and one on the way; sisters Charlotte (John) Zola, Susan Hensley; and several nieces and nephews.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Bob.

Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville is assisting the family. The celebration of life will be held Saturday January 6th from 1:00-4:00pm at the American Legion hall in Rittman (220 E Sunset Dr, Rittman, OH 44270).
