Dale Leroy Hans, 91, of Howard, OH, passed away May 20, 2024, at Knox Community Hospital, in Mount Vernon, OH.
Dale was born August 12th, 1932, in Ashland, OH to Ralph and Chloe {Barns} Hans. He married Anna J Randle on August 19, 1956.
Dale was a truck driver, a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge, as well as the Masonic Lodge. As a skilled mechanic, he could fix anything with an engine. He liked to golf and fish.
Dale will be deeply missed by his children: Dalene Thompson, Jacqueline (John) Packard, Michael Hans, and James (Shelly) Hans; grandchildren Melissa (Josh), Amanda (Vinny), John, Justin, and Amy; great-grandchildren Kayden, Giavanna, Keagan, Gabriella, Kyson, Giavanni, Jayda, Blake, Katie, and Maddie Jo. Dale was preceded in death by his wife Anna, his brothers Carl, Albert and Paul Hans and his grandson Cole Cline.
The family will hold a private service at a later time. Burial will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners or to a Veterans organization of your choice in his name.
