Dale Eugene Henthorn, 73, of Kent, died August 1, 2014 at Robinson Memorial Hospital, in Ravenna, Ohio.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Steven Chapman officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Dale was born September 15, 1940 in Beallsville, Ohio to Walter and Amelia {Boughner} Henthorn.
He married Norma Moine in 1958.
He was a construction worker and belonged to the LIUNA 1015 Canton. He belonged to the Kent Church of Christ. Dale was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He enjoyed hunting.
Dale will be deeply missed by his children Michael Joseph Henthorn of St. Louis, MO, Eric Eugene Henthorn of Kent, Ohio, and Carla Michelle Henthorn Yarnell of Ashley, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, and long time companion and caregiver Luzminda Erasmo.
Dale was preceded in death by his wife Norma Margaret Moine Henthorn, son Roger Henthorn, his parents, brother Clyde Henthorn, and beloved dog Kelley.
