Dale Vincent O'Connor, 60, from Wooster, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at his home.
Dale was born June 3, 1953 in Wadsworth, Ohio to Merle Harold and Lucy {Runfola} O Connor.
He married Charmaine Marie Likens on March 7, 2006. She survives.
He was employed in communications for 35 years. Dale will be missed by all who knew him due to his kind caring personality. He loved working in his garden making plants grow to enjoy the taste of freshly grown vegetables. He cared for and loved all animals, one in particular was his dog Jack. He always called Jack his other son. He was a connoisseur of fine cartoons and old TV series. He was an avid fisherman with many good old fishing stories.
Friends may call Friday, September 13, 2013 from 5-7 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville, Ohio.
Dale will be deeply missed by his wife; children, Brad (Angie) O Connor of Hudson, Jason O Connor of Akron; Step sons, Keith (Christine) Jackson and Kevin Jackson both of Rittman; grandchildren, Emily, Thyme, Vincent and Ashley , Isabelle and Marshall ; brother, Merle O Connor of Massillon; sister, Dorothy (Bill) Norris of Orrville.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents.
