The Lord has taken home a wonderful angel. Daniel Lee Osburn, 58, of Rittman, died February 4, 2015 at his home after a courageous battle with ALS.
Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, followed by a funeral service with Pastor David Kinkle officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund for Daniel Osburn c/o First Merit Bank.
Daniel was born August 1, 1956 in Doylestown, OH to James and Peggy {Morrell} Osburn. He married Anita Butler on November 10, 1990. Daniel worked as an iron pourer/ foundry worker. He attended Cowboy Church at Wayne County Saddle Club in Wooster, OH. He was an active member of the Wayne County Saddle Club for 18 years. His hobbies were fishing and attending horse shows while making memories with his children and grandchildren. Daniel was a hard-working, loving family man whose desire in life was to put a smile on everyone's face.
Daniel will be deeply missed by wife Anita; children Charlene (Shawn) Clark, Cheyenne (Roy) Reynolds, Dakota Osburn, Ryan Osburn and his special extra daughter Danielle (Shawn) Giauque; grandchildren Landen, Cayden and Rogen Clark, Makenzie Hershberger, Riley and Nathan Reynolds, Travis Giauque, plus four others; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother and his brothers James and Dennis.
