Daniel Jay Sanders

Daniel Jay Sanders, 33, of West Salem, died Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Wooster Community Hospital.

Daniel was born September 17, 1989, in Wadsworth.

He loved playing video games, riding his bike and collecting knives, he had over 200 knives in his collection. For his services Daniel wanted everyone to wear blue jeans and a t-shirt, he wanted everyone to be comfortable at his funeral.

Daniel will be deeply missed by his daughter EKO’Marie Elizabeth Sanders; mother Marlo (Ricky) Holderbaum; father Richard (Laura) Sanders; fiancée Krystal Gorman; sister Kimberly Ann Sanders; and step-grandmother Cathy Holderbaum.

Daniel was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Wilma Cole Sanders, and maternal grandmother Sarah Baker.

Friends may call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Services will then be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
