Dannie Ramsier

Dannie Lee Ramsier, 71, of Wooster, died Thursday, July 18, 2019 at his residence, with his family by his side.

Friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Memorial services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, where military rites will be held. Dannie was born September 4, 1947 in Lodi, Ohio to Harold and Ruth {Clark} Ramsier.

He graduated from Northwestern High School. Dannie served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

He and Laurie Topovski have spent the last 17 years together.

Dannie worked for Bunker Hill Engines. He loved softball, the Cleveland Indians and Browns.

Dannie will be deeply missed by his wife; children Kevin (Marisa) Ramsier of Bath, Krissy Logan, Jeremy Pagniano, Ashley (Brent) Boreman all of Wooster; grandchildren Jenica, Kayden, Chantz, Branden, Zoey, Elizabeth, Vivian, Jeremiah, Maverick, Kurstyn, Sylvie, Amelia, Blake, Kennaley, and Axel; great-granddaughter Calise; siblings Mary (Pat) Jackson, Linda (Bill) Grassman, Lonnie Ramsier, Bob (Dorothy) Ramsier, Dixie (Richard) Butdorf, Gary (Sandra) Ramsier, Jackie Biddle, Darla Starling, Denise Boesche, and Jim Ramsier.

Dannie was preceded in death by his siblings Don Ramsier, Rex Ramsier, Vivian Beard, Judy Lee, Shelley Ramsier, Jeanie Rector.
