Danny Hawkins

Danny Lee Hawkins, 83, of Ashland, died December 18, 2021 at Ashland Samaritan Hospital.
Danny was born January 23, 1938 in Millersburg, OH to John E. and Dorothy {Michael} Hawkins.
Danny graduated from Glenmont High School in 1955.
Danny retired from Schneider National. He enjoyed good conversation. He also loved fury friends, gardening, sports and helping his neighbors. His family was his pride and joy, always selfless to everyone.
Danny will be deeply missed by his daughters Cheryl Heintz, Deb (Paul) Hughes, Susan De May and Son John Hawkins; grandchildren Jerry (Aimee) Obrecht Jr., Shon Turner, Ashley (Cory) Bowles (nee Turner), Tyler (Rachael) Turner, Alysha Hughes, Megan Hawkins, Alexis Hawkins and eight great- grandchildren. Stepchildren Cory Amend, Brain (Paula) Weirick, Adam (Carla) Eikleberry, Kristen (Nathan) Warchak and Stephanie (Matthew) Heintz-Martin; six step grandchildren and four step great- grandchildren; brothers Lanny (Janet) Hawkins and Alan (Paula) Hawkins.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother Freddy.
