Darlene Leasure-Mumaw 85 went to her heavenly home Tuesday January 3, 2023, while in the loving care of her granddaughters Julie Kiley and Staci Brinker.
She was born in Graysville, Ohio May 11, 1937, to Anna Mae Briggs and Everett Leasure.
In her younger days, she loved playing bingo, travelling and country music, and she also showed tremendous love for any 4-legged fur baby that passed her way, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She especially loved the Holidays when the house was full of laughter and chaos.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 33 years Larry Mumaw, children, George (Norma) Young, Rick (Colleen) Young, Rodney Young, Jim (Lorie) Young, and daughter Tami (Chip) Walz, fifteen grandchildren and several great and great, great grandchildren, one brother Rodney Norris also known as (Pappy).
Darlene was proceeded in death by her parents and one son, Donald E. Young.
God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, He wrapped his arms around you and whispered, “come with me.” You didn’t deserve what you went through, he gave you needed rest, God’s Garden must be Beautiful, he only takes the best.
