Daryle Mason

Daryle Eugene Mason, 78, of Bailey Lakes, died Friday, March 27, 2020 at Crystal Care Center, in Ashland.

Daryle was born February 12, 1942 in Ashland, Ohio to James and Mabel {Watson} Mason.

He graduated from Ashland High School in 1961.

He married Nora Matlack on October 16, 1981.  Nora passed away April 25, 2015.

Daryle worked and retired from Abbott Labs.  He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Bailey Lakes.  Daryle enjoyed cooking, gardening, and in his youth restoring cars.

Daryle will be deeply missed by his brother John (Bessie) Mason of Florida; sisters Mae (Mike) Piper of Michigan, and Betty Owsley of Bailey Lakes; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a special caretaker Chell Owsley.

Daryle was preceded in death by his wife Nora; parents; brother Raymond Mason; and sister Carolyn McDonald-Schilling.

Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, services will be private.  Burial will follow at Ashland County Memorial Park.   A public service will take place at a later date.
