David Albright

David B Albright, 98, of Medina, died Monday, June 12, 2023 at his home.

David was born January 6, 1925 in Perryopolis, PA to Daniel J and Vinona {Reese} Albright.

He married Ruth Gary on February 11, 1946.

He worked for American Transit Lines as a truck driver for approximately 40 years. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Medina since 1952, in 1960 he helped with the construction of the new St. Francis Xavier Church in Medina. David enjoyed restoring antique automobiles and was a skilled mechanic. He also enjoyed watching Cleveland Indians baseball games, as well as the Cleveland Browns. David enjoyed spending time with his family.

David will be deeply missed by his wife, Ruth; children David L (Janet) Albright of Wooster, Donna J Kotecki of Medina, and Rita A Albright of Medina; grandchildren Stephanie M. Albright (Megan), Jennifer A. Albright, Katie M. Albright, and Brittani I. Kotecki Pawluk (John); great-grandchildren Jarrod Kompier, Colton Sadowski, Tisha Price, Babes Tripp, Damian Tripp, Cameron Tripp and Maylee Overholt; great-great-grandchildren Kalli, Karter, Ataleya, and Kaynen.

David was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Eleanor, Alberta, Helen, Eunice, Marg, Loretta, and Isabelle.
