David E Bailey, 71, of Wadsworth, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Wadsworth-Rittman Summa Hospital. He was born October 30, 1940 in Akron, Ohio to Kenneth and Clela (Southwood) Bailey and married Alice Hodge on May 10, 1959. David had been an employee of Carter Lumber Company for 52 years, retiring in 2007. He enjoyed building birdhouses, automotive repair and collecting fishing lures and guns.
David will be deeply missed by his wife Alice Bailey, children David and Beverly Bailey of Wadsworth, Diana and Russell Boswell of Copley, Lori and Allen Joseph of Richmond, IN., Jimmy and Cheri Bailey of Wadsworth, nine grandchildren, Chasen, Jareth, Holland and Jake, Sharlee, Jani, Brandon, Halle, Christopher, Stephanie, two great grandchildren, Kaleb and Megan, and his brother Arthur (Joan) Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Kenneth Bailey.
