David Hauger

David Allen Hauger, 70, of Ashland, died February 12, 2024, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, in Columbus, Ohio.

David was born October 9, 1953, in Ashland, Ohio to Dean and Maxine {Williams} Hauger.

 He previously worked at the Ashland VFW. David enjoyed playing cards, especially backgammon. He also loved caring for his dogs Candy and Bear-Bear.

David will be deeply missed by his daughter Tammy Batten, grandchildren Kellie Schaub and Kelson Batten, mother Maxine Piper of Ashland, sister Carol Thomas of Ashland and JoAnn Myers of Ashland.

David was preceded in death by his father Dean Hauger, sister Cindy Osborne, and grandson Kyle Batten as well as numerous other relatives.

Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel will be assisting the family.  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
