David Santangelo

David J. Santangelo, 69, of Wooster, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family.  Graveside services will be Friday at 10 am at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. David was born November 23, 1951 in Wooster, Ohio to Philip H. and Pauline “Polly” {Swartz} Santangelo.

He served in the US Navy.

He married Juanita Doklovic on July 28, 1989.

David retired from Akron Brass. He was a member of Saint Mary Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and VFW of Apple Creek.

David will be deeply missed by his wife; children Trey Santangelo of Wooster, Brandon (Tricia) of Brunswick, Donavon (Velvet) Swanger of Shreve, Melissa (Josh) Arms of Dayton; several grandchildren; brother Anthony Santangelo of SC.

David was preceded in death by his parents.
