David R. Ullman, 67, of Greenville, SC, formerly of Marietta, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019. Dave was born August 5, 1951 in Baltimore, MD to Chester and Thelma Ullman. He was a 1969 graduate of Warren High School and continued his education at Marietta College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1971 to 1975.
He was employed by Dravo Corporation, Connex Pipe Systems, and BF Shaw for 49 years.
Dave enjoyed finding and collecting advertising tins in his spare time, along with gardening, reading, cooking and music. He was passionate about his work.
He is survived by two sisters. Vickie, of Huntersville, NC, Mickie of Whitehall, OH, a brother, Daryl of Parkersburg, WV, sister in law, Jolinda Pollack of Beverly, OH, eight nieces and nephews and one uncle, Stan Ullman of Bartlett, OH. He is also survived by Kathy Mallett and Brenda Furnell, of Marietta, and many friends, including Melody Raetz, Helen Machado, Sallie Melton, Ann Davis, Terry and Sylvia McCain.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ronald and nephew Dennis and Terry Furnell.
Dave will be remembered as a loving caring son, brother and loyal friend to all that knew him. We will miss his humor and very quick wit.

In keeping with Dave’s wishes he was cremated. A graveside service will be held at 5 PM on Saturday, June 22 at East Lawn Memorial Park, where the family will gather from 4:30 until the time of the service.
