Deborah Lee Leiter

Deborah Lee Leiter, 63, of Ashland, Ohio, passed away on November 30, 2023, in Star, Idaho with her Husband and family at her side following a long-term illness.

Deborah was born August 18, 1960, to Joe and Patricia Rice in Vallejo, California. The family moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1972, where she attended Northland High School and graduated in 1978. She graduated with a degree in Information Technology from North Central. Debbie worked at Samaritan Hospital for 29 years. 

Debbie is survived by her husband of 17 years Keith Leiter; mother Patti Walker; sisters Chrissy Rice and Michelle (Brandy) Lackman of Idaho, Sharon and Mary of Ashland; and son Joe (Mosha) Cypher of Wyoming.

Deborah was preceded in death by her son Zachary D Cypher, brother Joey Rice, nephew Gary Moore, father Joe F. Rice, her maternal and paternal grandparents, and her mother-in-law Lila Leiter.

A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held on Saturday March 23, 2024, from 1-3 p.m. at Park Street Brethren Church. Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland is assisting with arrangements.
