Debra Denise Hecker, 57, of Lewis Center, OH went to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at her home.
She was born March 25, 1955 in Ashland, to Richard and Carol Boales.
She married Jack L. Hecker on August 13, 1977. He survives.
Debbie graduated from Northwestern High School. She was employed at U Brand Corp., Myers Credit Union, MaryKay Cosmetics, Samaritan Hospital, and Ohio Valley Hospital, Pittsburg, PA from which she retired.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ashland. Debbie was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed the performances of many Elvis impersonators. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, ceramics, cake decorating, embroidery, and camping. Her favorite pastime was her grandchildren.
Debbie will be deeply missed by her husband, Jack L. and her two daughters, Kima Jo (Joe) Langoehr and Renee (Derek) Patton, and grandchildren Joey, Mason, Jack, Alanah, and many family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Richard Boales and her mother Carol Sanford.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Roberts Funeral Home – Ashland Chapel, 1058 U.S. 250 W, Ashland, OH, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Don Thompson officiating. Interment will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
