Dennis E. Furman Sr., of Barberton, died Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Canal Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Akron.
Dennis was born May 21, 1950 in Barberton, Ohio to Father Wilbur and Doris May {Ady} Furman.
He married Patty on January 17, 1987. She survives.
Dennis started working for B & W in 1971 and retired after 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and bowling. Dennis loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Dennis will be deeply missed by his wife Patty, children Dennis Jr. Furman, Denise Lilly, Angie (Bill) Bucy, Tim (Amanda) Calhoun, Jamie (Jack) Krosnick, 13 grandchildren 1 great-grandchild, Father Wilbur, brothers Robert (Kathy) Furman and Gary (Veronica) Furman, sisters Sharon and Sandra Furman.
Dennis was preceded in death by his mother Doris, brother William Furman, sisters Karen Furman and Mary Ann Ripley.
Friends may call Monday, August 26, 2013 from 1-2p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville.
Funeral Services will be Monday, August 26, 2013 at 2p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Swanson officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
