Dennis E. Leonard, 68, of Chatham, died Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Pleasant View Care Center, in Parma.
Friends may call Monday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 at the funeral home with Pastor John McCaw officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where military rites will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to The Greater Cleveland Fisher House, 21886 Seabury Ave Cleveland, Ohio 44126.
Dennis was born June 1, 1946 in Seven Hills, Ohio to Clarence and Eliza {Kocian} Leonard.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He married Barbara Scribner on July 5, 1969.
Dennis worked as a dairy farmer in Spencer and then owned and operated Litchfield CB Radio, until retiring. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Medina. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and collecting antique John Deere Tractors.
Dennis will be deeply missed by his wife; children Denise (Tom) Gadomski of Chesterland, Dennis (Pam) Leonard of Seville; grandchildren Taylor, Alex, Andrew, Nicholas, Elizabeth; brother Benny Leonard; sister Clara Miller
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Velmer.
