Dexter Lee Schemrich, 30, of Shreve, died February 27, 2018 at Metro Health Medical Center, in Cleveland.
Memorial services will be Saturday March 3, at 11:00 a.m. at the Student Ministry Center at Grace Church 4599 Burbank Road, Wooster, Ohio with Pastor David Lawson officiating. A private burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens at a later date. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Dexter was born July 4, 1987 in Wooster, Ohio to Bruce and Kristy {Yoder} Schemrich.
He attended Triway High School, and later received his GED.
Dexter loved to work with wood, especially furniture. He also loved working on cars with his dad. He attended Grace Church, where he loved to serve coffee with his parents. Dexter loved his friends and family, and always was willing to help anyone.
Dexter will be deeply missed by his children Julius Schemrich and Bailey Schemrich; parents Bruce and Kristy Schemrich of Shreve; brother Brandon (Jessica) Schemrich of Seville; sister Mercedes Schemrich of Wooster; grandparents Lenny (Delores) Schemrich of Alabama; nephews Carter and Landon Schemrich of Seville, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom he considered family
Dexter was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mose and Verba Yoder.
The Schemrich family would like to extend their thanks to David, Julie, and Jake Lawson for their amazing support and prayers. They also would like to thank the Grace Church family, Grace Group, and all others who have shown support and prayers.
