Diana Lynn Baker

Diana Lynn Baker, 78, of Newport, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 18, 1945 in Parkersburg to Clell Wilt and Ernestine Cowan.

Diana attended Parkersburg High School. 

She worked for many years at Hensler’s Market. She loved to ride Harleys and entertain family and friends. Diana enjoyed her grandbabies and great grandbabies.

Diana will be deeply missed by her daughter Sherry (Kenny) Roberts; son Russ (Christy) Hockenberry; grandchildren Robert Barringer, Kayla (Tyler) Robinson, Maggie Roberts (fiancé Wyatt Marshall); great grandchildren Carmen, River, Peyton, Olivia, Braxton and Remi; brother Ed (Joyce) Wilt; and her close friend Jean Breedlove.

In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her husband Bud Baker and her son David Hockenberry.
