Dick Swindaman

Dick Eugene Swindaman, 88, of Ashland, died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Brethren Care.
Dick was born on July 29, 1928 in Nankin to Wint Coy and Mildred (Tucker) Swindaman. He graduated from Ashland High School in 1946. He served in the United States Army National Guard. Dick married Ercel Welch on January 3, 1953. He retired from Ohio Edison and was a member of Nankin Federated Church. He also owned and operated Swindaman Tree Farm, and regularly supplied trees to Cedar Point. He was a member of Antique Tractors of Ohio, Ohio Edison Retirees, and the NRA.
Dick will be deeply missed by his wife, Ercel; sisters, Bonnie Burnette of Hutchinson, KS and Betty Morr of Akron.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, William Swindaman and Dr. Robert Swindaman.
