Dixie A. Elser, 76, of Wooster, died Thursday June 18, 2015 at her residence.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Dixie was born January 26, 1939 in Wooster to Clark and Edna {Dribblebis} Buchanan.
She graduated from Dalton High School.
She married Lowell Elser on February 28, 1959.
Dixie retired from Wooster Community Hospital after 20 years. She was a member of Church of God International in Medina. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Dixie will be deeply missed by her husband; children Jeffrey Dean, James Dean (Susan), David Allen (Tina), Daniel Allen Elser all of Wooster; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers Russell (Betty) Buchanan, of MO, David (Harriet) Buchanan of Polk; sister Sherry (Bryan) Blake, of Reedsburg.
Dixie was preceded in death by her parents, son John, foster parents Edna J. and Anna E. Campbell, sisters Ann Buchanan, Joan, Ruthie.
