Dolores Stearns

Dolores Stearns, 93, of Wooster, died peacefully at home, Monday, March 28, 2022 after a long courageous struggle following her stroke.

Dolores was born August 15, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to Sam and Catherine {Dombrinski} Manolovich.

She married Richard Stearns on July 25, 1983. He passed on April 26, 2019.

Dolores was a beautiful, loving, devoted mother and a strong fierce friend who took great pride in her grandchildren Frona, Corky, Forrest and Xavie Mikol. Dolores was an extremely multi-talented artist & gardener, who loved cooking to share with friends.

Dolores' passion was to help & give comfort to others. She volunteered with children of battered women at a shelter in Wooster, Ohio.

Dolores will be deeply missed by her; children Diane Hart and Robert (Putt) Mikol, nephew & niece James & Dolores Manson & adopted daughter Judith Cunningham.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Catherine {Dombrinski} Manolovich, James Mikol, and Siblings Walter Manson, Paul Manson, and Helen Sichi.
