Don Edward Caperton

Don Edward Caperton, 66, of Wooster, died Friday, July 26, 2024 at the Wayne County Care Center.

Don was born July 7, 1958 in Lodi, Ohio to Francis and Mary Kathern {Hines} Gray.

He graduated from Northwestern High School. 

He married Barbara Fox on November 25, 1988. She survives.

He owned and operated Lehr Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning in Wooster. During his time in the industry, he continued his education as a licensed holder in plumbing and HVAC. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles both on the road and on the trail. He also was an avid boater.

Don will be deeply missed by his wife; children JCF (Louis) Caperton of Columbus, Ryan E. Caperton of Wooster; mother Mary K. Gray of West Salem; brothers Daniel T. Caperton of Ashland, Daryl N. (Rachel) Gray of West Salem; sisters Denise M. (Ron) Miller of Wooster and Doris K. (Robert) Graber of Ashland.

Don was preceded in death by his father, brothers Doug D. Gray, and Dennis L. Caperton.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family. Per Don`s request there will be no services. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
