Donald Ross Wall

Donald Ross Wall, 94, of Wooster, died Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Smithville Western Care Center.

Donald was born April 26, 1929 in Danville, Ohio to Lawrence and Elizabeth {Champion} Wall.

He attended Danville Schools. Donald served in the Ohio National Guard from 1948 to 1956.

He married Mary Lee Shultz on February 27, 1953. She died July 25, 2017. 

Donald worked for Sunglow Furniture in Fredericktown, then the Ohio Fuel Gas Company until retirement in 1984. He enjoyed camping, traveling and golfing. Donald enjoyed collecting tools and making things from wood and metal.

Donald will be deeply missed by his daughter Linda (Bob) Platt of Smithville; granddaughter Jennifer Platt of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lee, parents, step-father Harry Fox and brothers Earl, William Wall and Robert Wahl.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family.  Graveside services and burial will be Thursday at 1 p.m. Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
