Donna Phipps, 76, of North Lawrence, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Aultman Hospital, in Canton.
Friends may call Thursday, October 12th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Gladson and Brien Workman officiating. Inurnment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Donna was born July 3, 1941 in Lookout, Kentucky to Alfred and Selma {Lakin} Mitchell.
She married Roy Phipps on December 6, 1958.
Donna retired from Kurly Korner as a beautician after 25 years. She taught Sunday School at First Freewill Baptist in Rittman and attended at Canaan Freewill Baptist Church. Donna loved to spend time with her Bible and performed devotions daily. She enjoyed reading and cooking, but her biggest joys were her grandchildren and great-grands.
Donna will be deeply missed by her husband of 58 years; children Leah (Philip) Frase of Smithville and Kimberly “Kim” (Michael) Ballinger of London, OH; grandchildren Tony (Amy) Frase, Tana (Jeff) Heilman, Nichole (Nathaniel) Duenke, Megan (Shawn) Vaught, Stephanie (Matthew) Graf and Kasey (Eric Fleming) Ballinger; great-grandchildren Andrew and Allison Frase, Roman and Phoenix Hall, Grayson, Liam and Leighton Duenke, Emery Vaught, Michael and Lucy Graf; sister Deana Sutton of Apple Creek
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and brother James Raymond Mitchell.
