Doris L. Eberle, 75, of Orrville, went to rest Friday, October 4, 2013 after a period of declining health.
Friends may call Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Doris was born June 15, 1938 in North Lawrence, Ohio to Fred and Mildred {Walters } Schmidt.
She married Edwin Eberle in June of 1963, he survives. Doris was a lifetime resident of Wayne County, where she worked different jobs then retired from Regal Ware in 2000.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, tatting, bowling, dancing, camping and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Bobby (Vicki) Schmidt, Sandy Eberle, Missy (Randy) Tucker, Michael (Amanda) Eberle, all of Orrville and Dino (Annette) Eberle of Wooster; 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; a sister Gladys Werntz; numerous nieces and nephews; and Spot, her little dog.
In addition to her parents was preceded in death by a son, William Schmidt; a grandson, Billy Schmidt; a daughter, Paula Carter; brothers, Russell, Richard, Harold and Robert Schmidt; and sisters, Edna Mullett, Ruth Knode, Helen Murphy, Grace Gadfield, and Elsie Pinnick.
