Doris Jean Jollay, 87, of Nankin, died June 27, 2015 at the Hospice of North Central Ohio, in Ashland.
Doris was born March 25, 1928 in Tarkio, Missouri to Fred and Lettie {Swinehart} Harmon.
She married Howard F. Jollay on May 25, 1947. He passed on June 10, 2014.
Doris was a homemaker for most of her life. She spent her time taking care of her family and was well known for her canning. Doris also worked at Simmon's in Ashland and as a bookkeeper. She was a member of First Baptist Church of New London. Doris enjoyed crocheting and sewing in her spare time. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking weekend trips with her husband.
Doris will be deeply missed by her children David L. (Judy) Jollay of Mansfield, Gary W. (Donna) Jollay of Ashland, Dianne L. (Jody) Barr of Ashland and Ken A. (Amanda) Jollay of Nankin; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, of 67 years, brothers Loren Harmon and Wilbur Harmon, sisters Darlene Botdorf and Betty Hall.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland with Pastor Dan Moore officiating.
