Dorothy Jean Bauman, 58, of Marietta, died Friday, March 10, 2017 at her home.
Dorothy was born January 6, 1959 in Marietta, Ohio.
She married Gordon on October 17, 1987.
She worked as a bookkeeper at the Fenton Gift Shop for over 25 years. Dorothy was a member of the Church of Christ. She spent most of her time playing with her dog Buddy while planning her next trip to Disney World.
Dorothy will be deeply missed by her husband Gordon; children Randy (Mila) Bauman, Cody (Hillarie) Creamer-Bauman, Sarah (Patrick) Retzer and Chris Bauman; grandchildren Lex, Sebastian, Vada, Maggie and Alice; sisters Mari Lynn (Randy) Petty and Terri Martin; nieces Angi (Terry) Johnson and family, Tricia Martin and Ashlee Martin; nephews Josh (Natasha) Petty and family, and Ryan Martin.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Patricia and Donald Creamer, and her brother Donald Dale Creamer.
Friends may call Monday, March 13th from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Teddy Tackett officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
