Dorothy Brown

Dorothy May {Frame} Brown, 96, of Marietta, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017. Dorothy was born May 17, 1921 in New Brighton, PA to the late Ida Belle {Kinkade} and George Clayton Frame. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Vernon Leland Brown.

Dorothy is survived by her four children Larry Brown and wife Shirley {Stephens} Brown of Galloway, OH, Vernon Brown of Grove City, OH, Rita A. {Brown} Lutz and husband Donald Lutz of Horseshoe Bay, TX, Barbara A. {Brown} Oliver and husband Dennis Oliver of Pflugersville, TX. Dorothy had 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Her 3 brothers Ken Joenks, George Frame and Glenn Frame are deceased as well as her sisters Margaret {Frame} Bowersock and Alice {Frame} Kent.

Dorothy was very active in her church and served as a trustee in Norwood United Methodist Church, past president of American Legion Aux. Dexter City, OH, former 4-H advisor, Heart Sunday Chairman American Legion Aux. Post 64. Dorothy retired after working 14 years with the Washington County Home Nursing Service.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 8 at 2 PM at Roberts Funeral Home – East Lawn Chapel, 27880 State Route 7, Marietta 45750. Family and friends may call from 1 PM until the time of the service. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
