Dorothy Shane

Dorothy Mae Shane, 94, of Orrville, died Friday, December 13, 2019 at LifeCare Hospice.

Friends may call Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Hall officiating.  Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.  Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.   Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice at 1900 Akron Rd, Wooster, OH 44691.

Dorothy was born August 2, 1925 in Marshallville, Ohio to Oliver and Marie {Eich} Frase.

She married Charles Shane on April 25, 1947.  He passed on February 13, 2014.

Dorothy worked at many places such as Larry & George Falsecraft, Apple Creek Meats, and Pettits in Doylestown for many years before retiring in 1973. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Dorothy enjoyed crafts and camping. She also loved country western music.

Dorothy will be deeply missed by her children Connie (Mick) Clark of Arkansas, Jackie Shane (Ralph) of California, Tom (Diana) Shane of Wooster, and Ron (Ramona) Shane of Orrville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Betty Waller of Marshallville; nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 66 blessed years, brother Delmar Frase and sister Leota Stark.
