Earl Morrison

Earl D. Morrison, 84, of Smithville, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Wooster Community Hospital.

Memorial services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Grace Brethren with Pastor Bob Mitchell. Earl was born February 14, 1934 in Wooster to Virgil and Mildred {Clifford} Morrison.

He graduated from Wadsworth High School.

He married Myrtle Gaugler on December 23, 1999.

Earl was a retired farmer and started Morrison Farm Equipment. He attended Grace Church in Wooster.  Earl enjoyed restoring old tractors, but most of all, he loved spending time with his children and dog, Snowball.

Earl will be deeply missed by his wife of 19 years; children Rod (Linda) Morrison of Smithville, Cheryl Morrison of Wadsworth, Holly (Bart) Morr of Smithville, Melanie (Brian) Moser of Sterling and Bruce (Jane Hicks) Morrison of Smithville; step-children Russell (Edna Hoppe) Gaugler of Smithville, Phyllis Flurry of Akron, Michael (Tempe) Gaugler and Lori (Don) Batten both of Texas; grandchildren Richard, Amy, Bryan, Brittany, Megan, John, Carly; step-grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Amelia, Natalie, Brian, Brittany, Kelsey; great-grandchildren Chase, Sadie, Ellie, William; step great-grandchildren Kaila, Makel, Mya, Eva, Ian, Isaih, Lily, London, Austin, Emma, Mason; brother Donald (Rose) Morrison of Savannah; sisters Barbara (Bob) Kilmer of Wadsworth and June (John) Ohlman of Akron.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter April Lynn.
