Earnie Elvis Adkins, 56, of Ashland, died December 24, 2013 at his residence. Friends may call Monday, December 30, 2013 from 10a.m. to 12 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be on Monday at 12p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating.
Earnie was born November 6, 1957 in Orrville, Ohio to Bayless and Carlie {Lewis} Adkins.
He married Dixie Hackworth on February 25, 1978.
He worked in maintenance for Enviro Cleaning Services. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was skilled at sandblasting.
Earnie will be deeply missed by; children Earnie E. Adkins Jr. of Barnsville, Ohio, Robert J. Adkins of Pennsylvania, and Daniel K. Adkins of Ashland, Ohio; grandchildren Broklynn and Tyler; brothers Darell (Doreen) of West Salem, Homer (Barb) of Wooster, Tony (Sandy) of Wooster, and John of Celina.
Earnie was preceded in death by his parents, brothers William and Stanley, and sisters Wanda Spencer and Ann Baisden.
