Edith Corrine Potter, 77, of Orrville, died Thursday January 31, 2013 at Brenn-Field Nursing Center, in Orrville.
Friends may call Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Buchwalter officiating. Edith was born October 16, 1935 in Wayne Township, Ohio to Levi and Nettie {Amstutz} Nussbaum.
She married Donald Potter on July 8, 1955.
She worked for Rimers hardware and J.M. Smucker Company. She was a member of the homemakers club, the Womens Missionary Prayer Fellowship, and a Girl Scout leader for many years. Edith was a member of Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Orrville. She enjoyed decorating, baking cakes, traveling and her grandbabies.
She will be deeply missed by her husband; children Denise (Kevin) Wyler of Smithville, Lenore (Steve) Simons of Lexington, KY; grandchildren Benjamin (Jessie) Wyler, Robert (Amanda) Wyler, Callissa Simons, Isaac Simons; brothers Herold (Nancy) Nussbaum, Vernon (Ruth) Nussbaum; sister Harriet Noblit.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers and 1 sister.
