Edward Leroy Baker, 74, of Ashland, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the cemetery with Rev. Janet Chilcote, Chaplain at Hospice of North Central Ohio officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park, where military rites will be held. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
Edward was born April 28, 1942 in Woodsfield, Ohio to Olas and Dorothy {Knife} Baker.
He served in the United States Army.
Edward married Linda Baker on May 6, 1967. She died previously.
He retired from F.E. Myers (The Pentair Pump Group) after 35 years. Edward enjoyed old cars and spending time with his family.
Edward will be deeply missed by his children Cameo (Bill) Meadows of Mansfield, Barbara Baker and Susan (Adam) Bright both of Ashland; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers Mike (Ann) Baker of Ashland, Gary (Jeanette) Baker of Nova and David Baker of Ashland; sisters Marlene (Ronald) Bevington of Jeromesville and Sharlene (Pete) Graf of Bailey Lakes.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife, brother Rick and a great-granddaughter.
