Edward Frank Karoglan, 71, of Polk, died January 23 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones.
Edward was born April 1, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio to Edward and Eva {Mella} Karoglan.
He graduated college with an Associate’s Degree in HVAC. He proudly served our country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Edward then married Judy {Horvatin} on May 14, 1977.
He was the proud owner of Karoglan Concrete in Ashland and dedicated 43 years to his craft as a skilled concrete finisher. A devoted Browns fan and frequent visitor to the casino, he found relaxation in fishing and cherishing time with his beloved dogs.
Edward will be deeply missed by his wife Judy; children Kevin Karoglan of Cleveland, Tina (Mark) Ballash of Brookpark, Edwin (Jessica) Rodriguez of Parma, Melissa (Le’Shaunne) Pitmon of Chattanooga, TN, David Karoglan of Cleveland, Vanessa (William) Hudson of Greenwich, and Rebecca (Mike) Berry of Wooster; 24 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents.
Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel is assisting with arrangements. Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
