Ella Ross

Ella Mae Ross, 89, of Wooster, died February 15, 2022, at Smithville Western Care Center.

Services will be Thursday at 2pm at the Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Rev. Dr. Kevan S. Franklin officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.

Ella was born May 11, 1932, to Samuel and Anna {Overly} Cook.

She graduated from Leroy High School and Wooster Business College.

She married Raymond G. Ross on August 16, 1953. He passed away August 8, 2019. Ella was a secretary at the OARDC and the Apple Creek Developmental Center. She was a very involved member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, assisting with the rummage sale for many years. Ella enjoyed spending her time with her husband on their pontoon boat in Lake Buckhorn and traveling.

She is survived by a brother Lloyd Cook, sister-in-law Marian Cook, nieces, and nephews.

Ella was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond.
