Eric Eicholtz

Eric Robert Eicholtz, 40, of Wooster, died September 4, 2021, at his home, after years of struggling with addictions.

Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will follow at 11:00 at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Eley officiating.  Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Eric was born July 31, 1981 in Wooster, Ohio to Robert and Judy {Moyers} Eicholtz.

Eric graduated from Wooster High School, and the Wayne County Career Center. He worked for many years for the family business Eicholtz Racing.  Racing was not just his job but his passion. Eric also loved camping, cooking, fishing, and gardening.

Eric will be deeply missed by his father Robert Eicholtz; mother Judy (Denny) Akers; daughter Jossy; and sister Leslie Shaffer.

Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents.
