Esther Moses

Esther L. Moses, 88, died Monday, February 05, 2018 in her home in Wooster, Ohio.

Memorial services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Randy Moomaw officiating. Friends may call prior to the service from 1 to 2. Esther was born February 22, 1929 in Smithville, Ohio to Fred and Mabel (Miller) Ramseyer.  She graduated from Smithville High School in 1947, and married William “Bill” Moses on October 9, 1948.

For many years Esther was a valued employee at Taylor Shoe Store and the Wm. Annat Company.  She was a member of Grace Church of Wooster, where she was active in the children’s ministry.  She and Bill enjoyed traveling in their camper and attending gospel music concerts.

Esther will be deeply missed by daughters Kathie (Marv) Kister of Lakeville and Karla Johnson of Medina; grandchildren Mark (Kristy) Kister, Laura (Ben) Harbaugh, Bradley (Moira) Johnson and Gregory Johnson; great-grandchildren Logan, Landri and Brady Kister, McKenzie Harbaugh, and Aidan Johnson; brothers Homer (Bessie) and Floyd Ramseyer; sister Viola Moss, and nieces and nephews.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband Bill, grandson Allen Johnson, and sister Bernetha Beery.
