Esther "Momo" Sheridan

Esther M “Momo” Sheridan, 88, of Wooster, formerly of Ravenna, died Thursday September 6, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.

Momo was born July 21, 1930 in Cleveland to Gabriel and Ruth {Warren} Martinez.

She married Richard Sheridan on November 30, 1948.  He died in 2004.

Momo owned and operated Sheridan’s Hair Salon in Ravenna for 30 years, retiring in 1982.  Along with her husband, they then became snowbirds in Florida where they took up golf.  She loved to sew, crochets, bake cookies, was an avid reader, loved to camp and spoil her family and friends.  Nothing made Momo happier than hosting a party with “substantial hors d’oeuvres”.

Momo will be deeply missed by children Kathleen Schulda of Hiram, Ginger (Jim) Kovacich of Wooster, Rick (Denise) Sheridan of Mantua, Sandy (Jim) Whittlesey of Wooster, Charles (Marla) of Carlsbad, CA; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother Don (Carol) Martinez of Berea.

Momo was preceded in death by husband Richard of 55 years, son-in-law Wendell Schulda, brothers Raymond and Jack Martinez.
