Ethel Mae Fahler

Ethel Mae Fahler, 74, of Wooster, passed away peacefully Tuesday February 18, 2025 at her home with her loved ones, in Wooster.

Ethel was born June 17, 1950 in McVeigh, KY to Andy and Margie {Gillman} Thompson.

She went to school in Belfry, KY. 

She married Dennis Fahler on March 18, 1989. 

Ethel was a supervising investigator for Jobs and Family services where she retired after 32 years of a job that she loved and enjoyed giving back to the community. She was a member of West Hill Baptist Church. Ethel enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and listening to music each morning. She enjoyed all her vacations with her husband to Myrtle Beach. She was a woman of faith who had a deep bond with the Lord and she enjoyed watching her religious programs every evening. 

Ethel will be deeply missed by her husband Dennis; children Crystal Robinette, Rachael Workman, Dennis Robinette Jr., and Amber Perkins; grandchildren Deidra Lyn Spangler, Brayden Schmitt, Jeffrey Hill Jr., Dawson Kaser, Makayla Baker, Aubrey Perkins, Bradley Perkins, and Amber Rinehart; great-grandchildren Jeffrey Alan Hill III, Waylon Michael Schmitt, Bentley Rinehart, and Addison Rinehart; sister Mable Webb of Farmington Hills, MI; and many nieces and nephews.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Irvin Junior Thompson, Harold Thompson, and Freddy Ray Thompson, and sisters Linda Mullins and Bonnie Williams.

Friends may call Tuesday February 25 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Ethel-Fahler). Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
