Ethel Moreland, 78, of Wooster, died Sunday, January 18, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Jeff Ball officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice at 1900 Akron Road, Wooster, OH 44691.
Ethel was born December 17, 1936 in Scioto, Ohio to George Freeman and Lucy {Winters} Dawson.
Ethel married Harry L. Luke Jr. on January 5, 1954.
She then married Robert Moreland on March 15, 1971.
Ethel was self-employed. She enjoyed fishing, playing dice and gardening. Ethel loved having visitors, but most of all spending time with her family.
Ethel will be deeply missed by her children Daniel (Cathy Case) Luke, Ronald (Jody) Luke, Helen Doss, Richard (Robin) Luke and Scott (Karen Carruth) Moreland; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters Martha (Tom) Bailey and Bertha (Homer) Rigney.
Ethel was preceded in death by her four sisters and nine brothers.
