Eugene Wallace Mosser, 88, of Ashland, died Saturday, October 19 at Brethren Care Nursing Center.
Eugene was born July 17, 1931 in Ashland to Charles Kyle and Evelyn Margaret {Atterholt} Mosser.
He graduated from Ashland High School and then joined the US Navy, where he served during the Korean Conflict for 4 years.
He retired from National Latex.
Eugene was a pilot, loved to fly and parachute. He was a member of the Masons, American Legion, VFW and Sons of Herman.
Eugene will be deeply missed by his daughter Vicki Farnwalt of Shelby; grandchildren Ryan, Randy (Melanie) Farnwalt, Tracy (Lee) Riddel, Kara Mosser; great-grandchildren Kyle (Jasmine), Alexis, Asher, Nevaeh Farnwalt, Parker Riddel, Kevin Tibbets; sister Marilyn Simmons; and nieces and nephews.
Eugene was preceded in death by his son Mike, son-in-law Gary Farnwalt, and brother-in-law Ronnie Simmons.
Friends may call Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Tom Snyder officiating, where military rights will be held.
